Surprise Birthday Bash For BrendaIt was indeed a surprise birthday shindig that MTN sponsors of the on-going Project Fame West Africa threw for one of the contestants, Brenda Johnson. And trust the telecommunications giant that goes by ,everywhere you go pay off,. there was more than enough for all the 15 aspiring musical starlets including their principal, Joke Sylva, to chew and quaffed. Brenda is a Sierra Leonean and married with a daughter called Francesca. She acquired most of her education in Sierra Leone and gets her music inspiration from international musical icons such as Anita Baker and George Micheal. A bookworm, she likes to watch news and documentaries; uses her spare time to visit non-commercial beaches for relaxation and her favorite meal is Sushi, a special delicacy from Thailand. Brenda has described her home country (Sierra Leone) as a country that has so much going on and she is excited about the near future. She likes to hang out and relax at Virgin Hills and Villages in Freetown because it is so peaceful and natural. Politically, Brenda shares the optimism that the economy of her country would improve and would get better with the present leadership. She spends a lot of time in the United Kingdom and United States of America and hangs out at the theatres in New York and London. She loathes injustice, unfairness and intolerance, loves to cook especially for others and cannot live outside Africa. She intends to develop her singing ability fully while in the academy. "It is a memorable day for me and definitely the most memorable birthday celebration I ever had" she confessed passionately.
