OAU Student Wins World Bank Essay Award

A Chemical Engineering undergraduate of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Jonah Kayode, has emerged one of the winners of this year's International Essay Competition organised by the World Bank group in Paris, France. The competition tagged "The World Bank International Essay Competition" was open to all youths both students and non-students all over the world.

In this edition, there were over 3,700 participants from over 145 countries. Eight contestants from eight countries made the final list. Kayode was chosen as one of the best eight authors in the contest.

He just arrived from South Africa, where he went for the award ceremony and says he was happy to have done the nation proud.
