Ego, Faze To lift Lid On Life Secrets At Xpose

Ego, Faze To lift Lid On Life Secrets At Xpose

Everybody has one secret or the other. Though, most people choose not to let the whole world know theirs, D'banj, Ego and Faze are getting set to 'expose' all their secrets to their fans in a concert tagged: "Xpose."

The XQZMOI, Lekki, where the show is scheduled to hold on November 21 would likely be a well-attended event according to the organisers of the show as the artistes have promised to let it all hang out, when each of them would reveal personal secrets that their fans want to know.

The Koko master, D'banj, said he is not going to have any holds barred. "I like being honest with my fans and I think it would be fun to devote a part of the concert to interacting with them. And that's what Xpose is all about -- more fun and getting closer to the people."

Faze is ready to 'Xpose' his best-kept secrets as well. According to him, "Everybody wants to know the personal secrets of the popular entertainers. So, in between the songs, we are going to come on stage together and challenge each other to let it all hang out and Xpose who we really are. It's going to be absolutely crazy."

Faze, a former member of the Hip Hop group, Plantashun Boyz, solo album "Faze Alone" sold more than a million copies before the release date. Like D'banj, he has won dozens of awards and nominations.

"I've always said that my music is about whom I am, it is honest music, so while we are going to talk about things that would surprise a lot of people, we are going to give them the time of their lives. They are going to be surprised to find out that Nigerian entertainers are not as irresponsible as some people think," Faze said.

As to what he would 'Xpose' Faze said, "come to the show and be the first to know."

Pretty Ego, the former Lagbaja sidekick is saying the same thing with the other artistes. According to her, "It's going to be wild. Everybody thinks I have a certain secret I've been hiding for some time now. At the Xpose concert they are going to find out the real truth," she said with a wink.

Julius 'De Genius' Agwu - the comedian and showbiz impresario, who pioneered the music/comedy entertainment genre, would anchor the event. Talking about the show, Agwu said, "Xpose is really nothing new for me, though I am a musician and an actor, basically what people expect me to do is talk. But this time, the other artistes are going to join me on stage so that the audience will hear the gist of discussions that go on among us back stage. The idea is that while D'Banj is telling us who the real Koko is, (I will make sure that), and Faze is finally letting it all hang out too, Ego has promised to tell us what 'really' happened. As for me...well, you just wait and see. The point is that we are going to remind our fans we are human beings who have real personalities and issues that we need to address. The audience would get to join as well."

The event is organised by Xtreme Entertainment with Silverbird Productions as media partners.
